Recycling Center
& Green Billet Casting

Our recycling center & cast house, encompassing a closed area of 22,000 square meters, is equipped with cutting-edge facilities. It begins with our environmentally conscious recycling center featuring a delacquering furnace. Using Tomra brand x-ray separators and Eddy-Current separator technology, we can classify aluminum chips, separating metal from non-metal parts, before sending them to the melting furnace. In this facility, we use a tiltable melting furnace with magnetic stirring features and high energy efficiency.

Recycling Center & Green Billet

Our recycling center & cast house, encompassing a closed area of 22,000 square meters, is equipped with cutting-edge facilities. It begins with our environmentally conscious recycling center featuring a delacquering furnace. Using Tomra brand x-ray separators and Eddy-Current separator technology, we can classify aluminum chips, separating metal from non-metal parts, before sending them to the melting furnace. In this facility, we use a tiltable melting furnace with magnetic stirring features and high energy efficiency. Additionally, we have implemented state-of-the-art continuous homogenization furnaces and cooling cabinets.

In our recycling center for scrap preparation and separation, high-quality scrap is sorted using a shredder, magnetic drum, Eddy-Current separator, and Tomra X-ray separator.

Furthermore, the Double-Chamber Aluminum Melting Furnace has a magnetic pump. Using the pyrolysis technique, the efficiency of melting scrap is increased, and the fumes generated from the scrap are brought in front of the burners and used as combustion gas.

Another melting furnace is the Sidewell Melting Furnace, which works coupled with a delacquering system. The high-temperature aluminum scrap from the delacquering furnace, where the paint and lacquer on the scrap are removed, is charged into the vortex in a mechanically pumped system and melted.

Aluminium Green Billet Casting

To maintain internal pressure balance and enhance energy efficiency, high-temperature aluminum scrap is pumped into a preheating furnace, utilizing the hot air expelled from the exhaust of the melting furnaces due to their closed-cap design.

Collectively, these assets enable us to reach an annual billet production capacity of 90,000 tons. Our billets are produced in various diameters such as 6”, 7”, 9”, 10”, and 12”, and lengths up to 8000 mm, and are suitable for standard alloys such as 1050, 1350, 6005, 6005A, 6060, 6061, 6063, 6082, and 6463. Additionally, we have the capacity to produce billets with special alloys upon request.

Our commitment to quality is unwavering. We conduct meticulous sampling procedures and spectral controls before and after casting. Subsequently, we perform shell zone thickness measurements, microstructure evaluations, and analyses of segregation and grain boundaries after the homogenization process, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards.

With this major investment that sets us apart from everyone else; As Turkey’s first integrated green billetproduction facility, we are already prepared for the European Union Commission’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism, which will come into effect on 01.01.2026, with this environmentally friendly technology that has low carbon footprint certifications
